Italian inspiration

I was able to visit Italy this summer and was inspired to create this scene.

PaolasChickens

Every morning, we would head down to the chicken coop to let out the chickens, feed 'em our left overs, usually fruit and bread, and gather the eggs (for dinner, of course). There's the boss Rooster, the "red-necks," chickens, and the lone duck. Before meeting the chickens, I had heard about this black snake. I figured, "Ohh, it's probably one of them little grass snakes we have all over Texas." No way Jose, it's a HUGE BLACK SNAKE, and he was there every other day! It never killed chickens, just wanted to eat a few eggs for Breakfast (must be part American). And then, there's the fox. The little sneaky thing does try to take the chickens and has a few times. I've never seen him...

Italy

I've been in Italy for the past 3 weeks. I've been seeing these guys around and thought I'd draw one up. I also wanted to time one of my drawings. This one took 15 mins.
