Here is another illustration for the Texas Deer Association Magazine. It will go along with an article about a law in place to prevent deer depredation.
I was inspired by this weekend's event - Professional Bull Riding. This illustration was drawn, scanned in, inked in Adobe Illustrator, and colored in Adobe Photoshop. The texture in the bull's hide was taken from an image. The background is also an image from the internet.
I find that when I create an illustration at night, I wake up and hate it. So here is another attempt, created earlier today. I'm a lot happier with this little guy.
Again, I found some of my art from a couple years ago. All was done in my Foundations of Visual Design class. The body-parts image and chimp were done in sharpie and the skulls were cutout from construction paper.
