Digital Painting

Ive been wanting to paint ever since painting class one year ago, but never made my way to the hobby shop for paint and supplies. Im experimenting with a new way to paint without all those materials - Digital Painting. I simply layer on colors in Adobe Photoshop with the help of a Wacom tablet. Im enjoying the process and the results! I will post the final painting when complete.

#3 Illustration for Tracks Magazine

This story takes place in West TX. Bode shot an 11 point buck on his hunting trip with two of his buddies. This illustration was first drawn, scanned in, inked in Adobe Illustrator, and colored in Adobe Photoshop.

Color & Light

This is a study of color and light. I veered away from the black outlines and just worked with coloring in the form. I also decided to play with light and study its effect on surfaces.

From Pencil to Pixel

I decided to take a doodle to a finished illustration.
