Portfolio Pieces

Just finished taking the last photos/scanned images of my work for my portfolio.  The deadline for the PIXAR art internship is April 17th, so its getting close!  The first image is a life drawing done with brushpen and prisma color.  The other piece is a ceramic old man.

Turtle Man!

Prismacolors... caricatured after an googled old man.

Okay, THIS is the final "Loomy"

After looking at my other Loomy, I realized he was unbalanced.  Also, I wanted to caricature his features more.  THIS is the final.

Loomy

This is a second take on the car sales man I did earlier for schoolism.  After our 7 week course, we were to go back to the first assignment and draw this character, Mr. Loomy, a grumpy, used car salesman.  I learned a lot and recommend it to anyone interested in Character design.

Texas Deer Association: Final

"We jumped in the jeep and Larry let us off and showed us a string on the ground to follow up the hill to find the hunting blind. It was so dark and foggy we couldn’t see doodle, much less the blind. If the deer came in the fog, you couldn’t see them anyway."

Goldfinger

A ceramic hand I made... in ceramics.  I threw bowls and other various forms, cut them up, and assembled them to form this hand.

Texas Deer Association

So Grandma noticed all the work I've been producing, and wanted to get in on the action.  She works at the Texas Deer Association.  Every month (I think), they come out with a magazine highlighting deer, deer stories, etc.  There's a section that is taken from a diary of a hunter.  My job is to draw a little cartoon for a part of that diary.  This is what I'm working with right now.

Dino!

Drawn, scanned, traced in Illustrator, and colored in Photoshop.

Attitudes and Expressions

Working with attitudes and expressions.  The six expressions are disgusted, suprised, fright, happy, sad, and angry.  The first attitude, Jeck is thinking about taking his creativity/performance enhancing pills before going on stage, and the other is Jeck rockin' out!
