Clay Characters

So for ceramics, we are to make a set.  I decided to make a set of characters.  I wish the picture was bigger to you could see all the detail, but right now this is all I have, a phone picture.  Each piece is about 4 to 5 inches tall.  I'm having a lot of fun working on these, and plan on making a few more!

So I don't have much to post right now, so I thought I'd show you a screenshot of my website.  I don't keep it updated as much as this blog, but it does have most of my work (not my recent pieces) a little more organized than here.  I designed it myself.  It's pretty simple but works as a portfolio... which reminds me of some commissioned work in the works my buddy Todd and I will be working on soon.  I will be doing some caricature work as well as some web design.  

Modeling Update

So modeling this guy is taking longer than I had expected.  I'm learning to save A LOT along the way as I've had to learn the hard way and lose an hour or two's work from the computer crashing.  But, having to redo a lot of it is making me learn more about the process and I am getting faster at it as well.  So here is an idea of what it will look like smooth.  It's not ready to be smoothed quite yet, but it's getting there!
